About
Drawing, painting, sculpture — three rooms in the same house. The work moves between them looking for the same thing: a way to hold attention still long enough for something to appear.
Maria Ozer (b. 1989) is an artist working across drawing, painting, and sculpture. Her practice is built around slow looking — extended periods of observation, repeated returns to the same subject, and a willingness to let a work change over months or years.
She studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and has shown in solo and group exhibitions across Europe. Her work is held in private collections in Vienna, Berlin, London, and New York.
She lives and works in a converted printworks outside Vienna.
